COMMITTEE CORNER · 2 MIN READ

Less group-chat chaos. More jacket excitement.

A simple starting point for your matric jacket committee.

Give the project one home.

Choose one person to keep the latest design and one place to collect decisions. Make it clear which version the class is reviewing so an old screenshot doesn't become the final brief.

Start with the basics.

Ask for an estimated quantity, preferred silhouette, school colours and the year to appear on the jacket. Check who at your school needs to approve the design. Bring this information when you request a quote.

Check the details twice.

Collect each learner's name exactly as it should appear, including capital letters. Ask your supplier for the sizing information for the chosen style rather than assuming a size from another brand. Keep personal details within the ordering group.

Confirm before you commit.

Review the written quote, final artwork, quantities and delivery arrangements together. Ask about anything that's unclear before giving approval. Keep classmates updated when a decision is made, so everyone knows what happens next.
