YOUR FINAL YEAR · 2 MIN READ
You earned this chapter. Make it yours.
A jacket for the effort, the friendships and everything that brought you here.

Look back before you look ahead.
Getting to matric is made up of more than one big moment. It is the ordinary days you kept going, the work you put in and the people who made the difficult days easier. Give yourself a moment to recognise that journey.
Choose a detail with a story.
Your name and class year are a good beginning. You might also choose initials, a school-approved motto or a simple design that your classmates recognise. It does not have to mean something to everyone. It should mean something to you.
Make room for your people.
A class jacket connects lots of individual stories. Invite your classmates into the design conversation, listen to the quieter ideas and look for something everyone can feel part of. The process can become a memory in its own right.
Take the memory with you.
When the design is ready, keep a copy of the artwork and make time for a class photo. One day, the jacket might bring back a voice, a place or a moment you had forgotten. That is what makes a familiar piece of clothing feel like yours.
